Angela is one of a growing number of young, white, urban agri-farmers who have moved back into the city and taken over abandoned city lots to farm on. In an attempt to become self-sufficient and help revitalize the city, they hope that their presence will bring awareness that living in Detroit is a viable alternative to suburbia.
